The goal of this is to design a chess set that is aesthetically pleasing, feels nice to hold, and as a personal design decision make it marketable with a target consumer being middle class. Only six pieces need to be fabricated but they need to be done so in a way that Is mass manufacturable.

During the ideation sketching stage many ideas are tried out. The design that was chosen with its water droplet-inspired design allows for a comfortable and premium feel with its sloped sides. The design is also able to be manufactured Using one material through the molding process keeping costs down.

After the initial ideation sketches, More sketching is done to further refine and hone the Design

A physical prototype is crucial to providing tactile information So during this stage trial and error was key to getting a well-balanced feel and look.
